Murfreesboro Chapter 834

NARFE is the only association dedicated to safeguarding and improving the earned rights and benefits of America’s active and retired federal employees. Special 3 October Meeting 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Free Soup and Sandwiches for Active Federal Employees

This 3 October meeting is in the evening to make it easier for Active Federal employees to attend. The Chapter will plan additional evening meetings if this one is successful.

The chapter usually meets on the first Thursday of the month. Beginning in April meetings will be held at The Villages of Murfreesboro (see attached link), 2550 Willow Oak Trail, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. The meetings begin at 11:00, lunch will be served at a cost of $10. The business meeting starts at 12:00 with a prayer and the pledge of allegiance to the flag followed by the speaker. The chapter business is addressed after the speaker is done. The meeting closes at 1:30 PM.

The first exception is the Summer meeting which is in June, at a designated park. It is a pot luck lunch with the chapter providing the meat. It starts at 11:00 and ends about 1:30. Check this site for details.

The other exception is the meeting for the Christmas Holidays. Again the time is from 11:00 to about 1:30. This is a served lunch. The Chapter Officers are elected at this meeting. The location varies so you need to check this site for details.

No meetings are held in January or July.

The Villages of Murfreesboro may be reached by taking Robert Rose Drive north/northwest from Medical Center Parkway. The Villages, and also Willow Oak Trail, are at the end of Robert Rose Drive.
